What scares me most is that this advertisement should look so refreshing. It just means that today’s advertisement and medias never ever picture girls in a gender-neutral way anymore.
She is not a tomboy, she is a standard little girl who cares more about what she does than what she looks like. Just like any other little girl before sexist prejudices are forced into their minds through advertisement, television and every other form of social pressure.
